Halloween & Dia De Los Muertos
Hi Westside Parents,
Distance learning has got us feeling distant from our Westside family. We are in need of a joyful activity and we’re pretty sure the students are as well. So we’d like to invite you to a drive-through Halloween and Dia de Los Muertos celebration at Animo Westside. The event will take place on Friday, October 30th from 4:30-6:30pm at our Animo Westside parking lot. You are encouraged to dress up and bring your family!
We will be providing a safe, and socially distanced drive-thru experience where we will dress up, hand out treats, show our altar de muertos, and give you a chance to wave hello to some of your child’s teachers. Please remember to stay in your car during the event and wear a mask to help keep our community safe. All attendees must stay in their car at all times while they are on campus.
In the coming weeks you will also receive more detailed information about drive-thru logistics as well as our virtual pumpkin carving contest and our virtual costume contest. There will be prizes for each of these contests. Please follow us on Instagram @animowestside and Facebook for upcoming information.

Hola padres de Westside,
El aprendizaje a distancia nos ha hecho sentir distantes de nuestra familia Westside. Necesitamos una actividad alegre y estamos bastante seguros de que los estudiantes también. Así que nos gustaría invitarlo a una celebración de Halloween y Día de los Muertos en Animo Westside. El evento se llevará a cabo el viernes 30 de octubre de 4: 30-6: 30 pm en nuestro estacionamiento de Animo Westside. ¡Le animamos a que se vista en disfraz y traiga a su familia!
Estaremos brindando una experiencia de auto-servicio segura y socialmente distanciada en la que nos vestiremos, repartiremos golosinas, mostraremos nuestro altar de muertos y le daremos la oportunidad de saludar al maestro de su hijo. Recuerde permanecer en su automóvil durante el evento y usar una máscara para ayudar a mantener a nuestra comunidad segura. Todos los asistentes deben permanecer en su automóvil en todo momento mientras estén en el campus.
En las próximas semanas también recibirá información más detallada sobre la logística del drive-thru, así como nuestro concurso virtual de tallado de calabazas y nuestro concurso virtual de disfraces.
