Message from the Principal

For over 10 years, the Ánimo Watts College Preparatory Academy “Warriors” has served the Willowbrook, Watts, Compton, and South Los Angeles Communities.Our educators are committed to academic excellence, college acceptances, and effective interventions to develop the potential in all students. We know that by setting high standards, and providing access to innovative educational opportunities, our students will outperform expectations.

We believe in preparing our students with the skills needed to be successful in college, leadership, and life. Our educators have an unwavering belief in the potential for all students, leading the way with college-ready coursework. We prioritize a college-going culture with our safe learning environments, skilled teachers, academic counselors, and A-G-ready coursework.
