Students Thrive Here

Our intention is to continue working to carry out our school mission and to provide an education for our community that will equip our resilient, self-reliant, and compassionate students with the skills necessary for success in college, career, and their adult lives.

We foster a nurturing community.

We meet students where they are.

We prepare all of our students for college, leadership, and life.

We engage parents as partners.

Message from the Principal

Welcome to Ánimo Legacy Charter Middle School, a place where students not only learn but thrive, excel, and achieve. We are proud to be a free, public charter school, open to all, and driven by a team of committed educators who firmly believe in the boundless potential of every student.

In our tight-knit school community, we make it a priority to know each student personally, understanding their unique dreams and aspirations. By doing so, we can tailor our approach to their individual needs and help them chart a path towards success.

At Ánimo Legacy, we firmly believe that education is the key to unlocking a brighter future, and we are dedicated to providing a high-quality learning environment for all students. Our commitment to collaboration and inclusivity ensures that all stakeholders – students, teachers, caregivers, and communities – feel safe and supported in their journey.

In line with our mission to foster positive change, we are dedicated to developing our students into agents of transformation. By nurturing their academic strengths, personal talents, and social-emotional awareness, we empower them to become leaders not just within our school but also in their future endeavors.

Our culture is one of rigor, equity, and self-advocacy, where every student is encouraged to take ownership of their education and embrace social responsibility. By instilling these values, we prepare our students not only for high school and college but also for leadership roles in life beyond academics.

At Ánimo Legacy Charter Middle School, we firmly stand against racism and are committed to creating an anti-racist environment where everyone is respected, valued, and celebrated for their diversity. We embrace the rich tapestry of backgrounds and experiences that our students bring, and we believe that it is through understanding and appreciating these differences that we truly grow as individuals and as a community.

We welcome you to join us in this transformative journey, where education is not just a destination but a lifelong pursuit of knowledge and growth. Together, let us pave the way for a brighter future, one where our students become the change-makers of tomorrow.

Thank you for being a part of our Ánimo Legacy family.
