Counseling & Student Support Team
Ms. Cord was born and raised in Los Angeles County. After graduating high school she attended Orange Coast Community College. After receiving her AA in History she transferred to the University of California, Irvine where she earned her BA in History with a minor in Education. Ms. Cord went on to receive her M.A. In Educational Psychology, PPS in School Psychology, and Ed.S in School Psychology from Chapman University. This is her 6th year with Green Dot and 2nd year at APB.
In her free time, Ms. Cord enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, especially at Disneyland. Ms. Cord also enjoys running, cooking, reading, and going to the beach.
Mr. Kulee was born in Liberia and raised in St. Paul, Minnesota. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in religion with a concentration in Family Studies at St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota. Upon finishing his undergraduate degree, he worked for an education-focused organization called City Year Los Angeles, where he served as a tutor, mentor, and a role model at Jordan High School in Watts. He received his master’s degree in counseling with specialization in Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) from Loyola Marymount University. Mr. Kulee currently works as a ninth and tenth grade school counselor at Animo Pat Brown High School. His future goal is to pursue his Doctorate degree in Educational Leadership to one day become a higher Ed administrator.
In his free time, Mr. Kulee likes to go workout at the gym or play soccer. Outside his regular job hours, he also does ministry work, where he teaches young men and women ministry leadership. Mr. Kulee likes to be adventurous and intends to one day go parachuting. He also likes to travel and have traveled to few countries outside the US. Mr. Kulee has traveled to Greece Turkey, Israel, Palestine, Germany, Ghana, Togo, Ivory Coast, and Jordan. He also enjoys reading classical books and has a vast interest of music, from country, jazz, orchestra, hip-hop, gospel, classics, etc. Overall, Mr. Kulee likes to stimulate his mind with new challenges everyday!
Ms. Ramos attended and earned her Bachelor's degree in Sociology from the University of California, Santa Barbara. After, she attended National University and earned her Master's degree in Educational Counseling. While working to earn her master's degree, Ms. Ramos completed her school counseling internship at Animo Pat Brown. For the last 5 years, she has been the 9th and 10th grade school counselor at Animo Pat Brown. Ms. Ramos is entering her 6th year at Animo Pat Brown and her first year as the 11th grade counselor.
Ms. Ramos enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.
Ms. Reyes grew up in Anaheim and attended CSU Fullerton where she completed her undergraduate degree in Sociology. She has always been passionate about helping high school students achieve their goal of attending college. Before coming to Animo Pat Brown she has worked as an AVID tutor and Instructional Assistant. She also volunteered as a sexual assault counselor. After earning her Master's in Counseling, she became one of the first counselors at Animo Pat Brown and is still passionate about working with seniors as they embark on their post-high school journeys!
When she's not at APB, Ms. Reyes loves spending time with her two girls. She enjoys traveling with her family, exploring new places, and doing yoga when possible.
