It serves students in the community of Watts. The school, a hub for local gang violence, was split between Green Dot and Mayor Villaraigosa\u2019s PLAS organization. Entering its second year under new management, the newly named \u00c1nimo College Preparatory Academy is now a far safer and more welcoming campus actively building positive relationships with the broader community.
