At AMJ, we view parents and families as community stakeholders, who are critical to the education process. We hope to engages parents as vital partners in your student’s success. We value your time and opinion and we would like for your voices to be heard! Join us on campus for meetings, workshops, or as a volunteer!


Coffee with the Principal @ 8:30am & Pizza with the Principal @ 5:30pm

Join us for a warm cup of coffee in the morning or a cheesy slice of pizza in the evening and you will have a opportunity to hear school highlights, updates and share any general questions or concerns you have about AMJ. All are welcome!

Have instant access to your student's academic progress and attendance on PowerSchool, a virtual tool for parents and students to connect with school. *Please bring a valid email address or please arrive earlier to create one.*

African-American Parent Advisory Committee (AAPAC)

Join us and celebrate the academic enhancement of our African-American students. We want to create a space where parents can provide input and engage in opportunities regarding the academic achievement and the social and emotional well-being of African American students.

District-Level English Learner Advisory Committee (DELAC)

A student who is an English Learner receives resources in class to better support their education and ensure their academic success. We want to assure that you are well informed about your student's resources and have an opportunity to express their needs.
